Sturdy. Just like every house has to have solid foundations, the MIA cat house has a sturdy body. The key element of the design process was to make everything rigid enough. 22 construction “locks” connect the house into one piece which will easily hold a big, adult cat on top.

To make it, we only use the highest quality of Kraftliner cardboard, made with 100% unbleached source fibers collected from conifers. Within this light, compact form, we were able to include the quintessence of a safe space for resting, relaxing and play.
The indicator of a cozy house is what it has to offer on the inside, which is why the MIA cat house comes with a comfy, fitted, durable cardboard mat that strengthens the entire construction. The mat is like a mattress that provides warmth and comfort - laying down on it for the afternoon nap is pure bliss.
The mat was finished with our original technique that makes the surface feel like suede to the touch - regardless of the intensity of the cat play and scratching that goes on inside the house, the mat stays safe for the cat’s paws while they sharpen their claws, nap or have fun.

Gentle for cats’ pawsThe cardboard mat inside the MIA cat house is made with the highest quality corrugated cardboard and finished in a way that leaves it soft and nice to the touch, like suede. Cats love it from the first scratch - the surface is smooth, free of sharp edges and doesn’t irritate cats’ delicate paws - a purrfect solution while scratching, playing and cat naps.
MIA is a cat house made with natural, Kraftline cardboard - an eco-friendly material loved by all cats. The cardboard is derived from 100% unbleached fibers from conifers. It’s cut out and ready to assemble without any glue, which, in turn, makes it completely safe for cats, people and the environment. What’s more important, MIA can be fully recycled.
We’re no strangers to the LESS WASTE philosophy - making the MIA cut out, we chose to go with a flat design for self-assembly and minimized the production waste. The MIA cat house is made in Poland - we support our local market and don’t generate unnecessary carbon footprint to import materials from far away.
MIA also cares for the environment with its packaging. Thanks to the flat cutout for self-assembly, MIA travels to its feline users in boxes made with natural, corrugated cardboard the size of a pizza box - it doesn’t take up too much space and once disposed of, it doesn’t take up the entire recycling bin. What’s more, the boxes themselves are closed with a paper sticky tape and the MIA cat house itself doesn’t use any glue, which is why both the house and its packaging can be 100% recycled.
