1. HOW BIG IS THE LUI XL? 

LUI XL is the bigger, older brother of our classic scratcher, LUI. Its dimensions are 85,5 x30 x 32,5 cm, and the structure itself can support cats weighing up to 15 kg, making it suitable for even the largest breeds of cats.

2. HOW QUICKLY DO MYKOTTY SCRATCHERS GET USED UP?

The average lifespan of myKotty scratchers is 6-12 months, assuming a one scratching post = one cat arrangement. Factors that may cause the cardboard to wear out faster include the number of cats using the scratching post, the cat's scratching style, the sharpness of their claws, and the number of scratching posts available in the home for the cats. Therefore, we recommend having at least one scratching post per cat in the home - this way, your fur babies can enjoy their accessories for much longer. The lifespan of a scratcher can, of course, be significantly extended if your cat is particularly gentle with the furniture, has access to more scratching posts, and has its claws regularly trimmed - we know many fabCats whose myKotty products have lasted several years and are still going strong!

3. IS LUI XL OK FOR A MAINE COON? 

Absolutely. It was precisely with the largest breeds of cats in mind that the idea of creating a larger model of LUI was born. The XL version is bigger, wider, and more robust than the original, so it can easily accommodate Maine Coons, Norwegian Forest Cats, Ragdolls, Siberians, British Shorthairs, and other representatives of large breeds.
